My name is Musa Aygerim, I am a 2nd year student of the specialty «Electrical Power Engineering». When I first found out that our university cooperates with foreign universities, I was surprised at the opportunity AUPET students have. I decided not to lose this opportunity and handed over the documents. And then the day came when you need to fly away for half a year, it was scary and very exciting.
Upon arrival, acquaintance with the university (Poznan Technical University) and with foreign students from around the world began. The lessons were conducted entirely in English, which helps to develop the level of English. It was exciting to learn something new, as the teachers tried to prepare as much as possible for the lesson presentations, educational supplies in the field of energy.
Every Thursday, “International coffee” meetings were held with international students. In the evenings, over a cup of coffee, we discussed the countries, cultures, traditions of our homeland. I also did not lose the chance to introduce my native Kazakhstan. So, I learned a lot about other ethnic cultures. Games were held, which contributed to the rapprochement of students. So I made friends from all over the world.
When you are abroad, you can travel to Europe, it is incredible. You will leave a minimum of expenses and a maximum of emotions and impressions.
In conclusion, I want to say one thing, do not lose the opportunity. This is a very valuable experience. A lot of people do not make a move because a sense of reliability is important to them. The changes scare them. But reality is such that all the rewards of life are outside the comfort zone. I wish you all good luck ♥.
«My name is Baimuratov Madiyar, I’m a 2nd year student of the specialty «Electrical Power Engineering», currently studying at the Czech Technical University in Prague within the program of academic mobility. The Czech Technical University in Prague is included in the "Top - 150" of the best technical universities in the world, and in the "Top - 5" of the best technical universities in Europe.
Studying at a university is not difficult, the main thing is to take a responsible and appropriate approach to study, to be prepared for exams, and this is all that is required of a student at CTU.
You can create a schedule yourself, which is a big plus, and, starting from this, you can draw up a schedule for the day.
The location of the country, in the center of Europe, is very convenient, which makes it easy to travel throughout Europe.
For 2 months I have visited 7 different countries in Europe, in 13 cities and in various other places.
I can say the main thing to AUPET students who want to study within the program of academic mobility "Nothing comes to you without putting in the work". Therefore, invest to the maximum in your education now: learn languages, broaden your horizons and then all this will pay off in your favor in the future ».
«I am a second-year master’s student in Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Sisenova Ainamkoz, currently studying at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Germany) within the Erasmus + program. The main advantage of Anhalt University is that the learning process is aimed at practical training and independent projects in all disciplines. Each master’s student is given all the necessary equipment at home for further independent work. Laboratory rooms are equipped with personal computers and the newest equipment. The university also has a very strong teaching staff; lectures are given by professors with great practical experience in the field of telecommunications. All international students are provided with a dorm room».
«I am a second-year master’s student in Electrical Power Engineering, Zinesheva Diana, I study at the Université de Lorraine, namely the National School of Geology - E.N.S.G. at the expense of the French MOPGA scholarship (615 € / month), the second participant - Adil Baygadilov - the 2nd year master’s student in Electrical Power Engineering – studies due to the international program "Abay-Verne" (800 € / month). The university is famous for its good education in the field of geology. The competence of professors is at a high level. Lessons are interesting. Representatives of various well-known companies, such as TOTAL, Beicip-Franlab, etc., come to us to deliver lectures. There is also a convenient training system: for 2 weeks we study the subject (lectures, practical and laboratory classes), and at the end of the second week we pass exams in this subject. The training schedule is well thought out, which allows you not to overload and allocate time for personal development (sports, travel).
Staying within the walls of this university brings a lot of positive emotions. The process of capturing a new field of engineering in this environment is supported by cultural enrichment in the person of classmates from different parts of the Earth. In general, we are very pleased that such programs exist that promote both professional and personal growth of students».

«My name is Bayeshov Marat. I am 22 years old. I am a 2-year master’s student in Electrical Power Engineering. In the summer of 2019, I had the opportunity to travel by academic mobility for one semester to Europe. The country of my studying was Spain, the city of Gijon. I am currently studying at the University of Oviedo, the largest university in the Principality of Asturias - a province in northern Spain. The process of collecting documents was very fast, because I did not have much time to submit. But having successfully received a visa, on August 31, I was already in Spain. We had 2 orientation weeks in Gijon. We filled out all the documents, examined the outskirts of the city and studied the university. With the beginning of my studies, I completely joined its process, met my classmates, who, by the way, were from various countries: Bangladesh, the Philippines, Switzerland, Germany, Ethiopia, etc. In terms of academic load, I tried to take both technical and economic subjects. Thus, my main subjects were Microgrids and Smartgrids and Project Management. In addition, we are taught programming in IoT courses and modeling of power systems in the environments Matlab Simulink, Powerworld Simulator and DIgSilent Powerfactory. I go to Spanish courses several times a week. You need to know the base of spanish, since there are very few English-speaking people in Spain. Studying is simple, but knowledge of technical English is very necessary here. After all, it is one thing to know everything in Russian, as we did at university, but we also need to understand and express our thoughts to professors in English. There are many independent works, but this is almost the same as our calculation and graphic work, so I think it will be easy for AUPET students. Time passed very quickly, and I have exams soon. But after all this time, lectures and passing projects, I do not regret at all that I got such an experience in my life. To anyone who doubts or is in thought, I strongly recommend spending one semester in another country. Acquaintance with new people, with the new culture of the European country, as well as new teaching methods will not leave you indifferent. In general, there is a chance - do not waste time! Good luck! ».
My name is Raisov Amanzhol. I am a 4th year student with a degree in Automation and Control. I have only positive reviews about the University of Genoa. The University of Genoa is one of the oldest universities in Europe and was founded in 1481. The university is located in a beautiful ancient city. Some of the auditoriums are in architectural monuments. The University is actively engaged in various scientific researches, constantly patents developments and publishes scientific papers. Laboratories are equipped with new modern technics. The university has a lot of opportunities for students; all faculties are located next to the dormitories. There are a lot of libraries in the city. On the territory of the university there is a library complex with special literature available to students for independent work. The subjects are taught in English. The university has the advantage of teaching foreign students the Italian language for free. I really like to study here.
My name is Kydyrbayev Yeskendir, I am a 3rd year student with a degree in Automation and Control. When I arrived at the Lodz Technical University (Lodz, Poland), I was surprised and delighted with the capabilities of this educational institution. All classes are held at the highest level. This university has 50 buildings, and all of them are equipped with high-tech devices that help students of this university in various scientific works. The city of Lodz is a very quiet and beautiful city in the center of Poland; due to it you can visit all the countries of Europe.
